2022 brought big changes

How was your 2022?

2022 was a transformative year for me. I have had many experiences where I have learnt a lot about myself.

I decided to expand my knowledge in many areas of my life to grant myself more freedom and more of a connection with nature and myself.

I experienced my first sickness in over 10 years to start 2022. This made for a slow start! But with some TLC, vitamins and lots of sleep, I was able to bounce back and get into my first course.

So, in the first 6 months of 2022, I completed a permaculture course, and I must say that this was more life changing than I could have imagined.

I now have a deep understanding of how we are all connected to the land and how each and every one of us can make a difference to this planet and the environment through building soil through compost piles, growing our own food in a way this is nourishing for us and mother earth. I have a great appreciation for weeds and the part that they play here and how most weeks have a medicinal quality. I could go on and on but I’ll move onto the next topic.

My family moved house again, that’s five houses in 5 years! We are getting good at the process and love the opportunity to declutter. Moving house reminds be as minimalistic as possible. Keep only what we use, luckily none of us are hoarders!

A highlight, as always, is coaching inspirational women. I have the privilege to support people on their transformational journey and it is an honour to be a guide and help change their lives! This lights me up and I believe that is what I am here to do.

I have included animal protein back into my diet after 4 years of a 100% plant based diet. I will have to write a blog on this transition and go into the details of all the whys and how’s.

I watched my kids thrive in their chosen fields and this makes me think that I will write a blog on how homeschool can create entrepreneurs.

I have witnessed my husband reach a major goal, so proud.

I have studied and I’m still studying herbalism, natural medicine, reiki, hypnotherapy, wild crafting, sound healing and more!

I’ve read some epic books, and opened my mind even more.

I have laughed and cried.

I have learnt so much about myself as I continue to dive deep into different healing modalities for my mind, body and soul.

I have started practicing kundalini yoga.

I have started a new business with a friend. Sacred Journey Retreats, check it out on socials.

Tom and I continue to get clear on what we want for our future, and its looking good!

We finished the year with a trip to Tasmania.

It has been wild and wonderful, but I am so looking forward to 2023.

What has 2022 been like for you?

And what do you want life to be like in 2023?

Big love to you x
